Sonoran Repertory Theatre is currently seeking a small number of individuals with experience in business, law, finance, fundraising, marketing, education, philanthropy, and community leadership who believe in the power of theatre and wish to help shape a bold new vision for classical theatre in Arizona.

We are particularly interested in individuals who value artistic excellence, accessibility, education, and strong community engagement.

Previous theatre experience is welcome but not required. A passion for the arts, collaborative leadership, and a willingness to actively support the organization’s mission are essential.

Board Members of Sonoran Repertory Theatre are expected to actively support the organization through advocacy, attendance, fundraising, and an annual give/get commitment. Board members commit to making Sonoran Repertory Theatre one of their philanthropic priorities through a combination of personal giving and fundraising efforts.

During the Founding Board period, each Board Member is asked to fulfill an annual give/get commitment of $1,000 through a personal contribution, fundraising efforts, or a combination of the two. This commitment reflects the active leadership role our Founding Board Members play in establishing the organization's long-term financial stability and success.

Because we are intentionally building a highly engaged working board, prospective members are considered through conversation and mutual fit rather than open election.
