Sonoran Repertory Theatre is currently seeking a small number of individuals with experience in business, law, finance, fundraising, marketing, education, philanthropy, and community leadership who believe in the power of theatre and wish to help shape a bold new vision for classical theatre in Arizona.

We are particularly interested in individuals who value artistic excellence, accessibility, education, and strong community engagement.

Previous theatre experience is welcome but not required. A passion for the arts, collaborative leadership, and a willingness to actively support the organization’s mission are essential.

Board Members of Sonoran Repertory Theatre are expected to actively support the organization through advocacy, attendance, fundraising, and an annual “give/get” commitment. Board members commit to contributing personally and/or helping generate financial support for the organization.

During the Founding Board period, members are asked to support the theatre through a minimum annual contribution or fundraising commitment of $500 per year during their term of service. Founding Leadership Members are asked to demonstrate early investment in the organization through an inaugural contribution or fundraising commitment of $1,000.

Because we are intentionally building a highly engaged working board, prospective members are considered through conversation and mutual fit rather than open election.
