Sonoran Repertory Theatre closes its inaugural season with the World Premiere of a new comedy by Todd Olson, co-author of the internationally produced My Way: A Tribute to the Music of Frank Sinatra and I Left My Heart: A Salute to the Music of Tony Bennett. And Todd is coming to Phoenix to direct it himself.
The premise is almost too good to be true. Except it is true. In 1857, Charles Dickens invited Hans Christian Andersen to visit his family home. Andersen planned to stay two weeks. He stayed five.
Todd Olson takes it from there.
Two of the world's most famous writers. One increasingly unhappy household. And a guest who simply will not leave.
