Director, Much Ado About Nothing

Tim Shawver is an award-winning Phoenix-based director and actor whose work spans more than 125 productions across many of Arizona’s leading theatre companies, including The Phoenix Theatre Company, Arizona Broadway Theatre, Southwest Shakespeare Company, Childsplay, Actors Theatre of Phoenix, and Nearly Naked Theatre, where he serves as an Artistic Associate.

Tim was also a founding artist with the critically-acclaimed AC Theatre Company in Phoenix, helping to establish the company as one of the Valley’s most daring and actor-driven theatrical voices. Throughout his career, he has become known for bold, emotionally resonant productions that combine theatrical flair with deeply grounded performances.

A multiple AriZoni Award recipient, his directing credits include acclaimed productions of The Rocky Horror Show, Torch Song Trilogy, and Times Square Angel. With Much Ado About Nothing, Tim brings his signature blend of wit, clarity, and emotional truth to one of Shakespeare’s most enduring comedies.
